Vaidya Jivak, the head of the Siddha Veda lineage who lived thousands of years ago, always believed in putting a certain percentage of one’s income towards helping to protect animals and the environment. Ramdas Swami, Dr. Naram’s Guru, had him make a firm commitment that he would do the same. Since beginning his Ayurveda practice, Dr. Naram has followed this vow continuously– always putting a percentage of his income to care for animals and ecology. The Ayushakti herbal supplements have saved many animal’s lives in the past 18 years, including some fortunate hives of bees in Italy tended to by Dr. Giovanni Brincivalli, an MD trained by the Narams’ who now practices Ayurveda 100%.
