Before we indulge in the Ayurvedic medicines for kidney diseases, let’s understand what kidney diseases are.  The kidneys are two organs that are located in your midsection on either side of your spine, which is in the idle of your back. They clean your blood and helps balance the salt and minerals in your blood. When your kidneys are damaged, the waste products cannot be filtered out. What causes acute kidney injury? There are three main causes:

  1. Lack of blood flow to the kidneys

  1. Diabetes: due to high blood pressure caused by diabetes this damages the blood vessels.

  1. Reduction of Salt:

If there is a lot of salt intake by your body it can cause kidney disease and failure. This will cause a dis-balance in the system. Try having a low salt diet and the amount of liquid you take in should be in proportion. Eating fruits and vegetables to your dishes can neutralize the amount of salt the dish contains.

  1. Potassium content:

It is advised that you consume low potassium food. Excess can be various dangerous. Access of foods like banana, orange, tomatoes etc. is not good. This usually depends on case to case as some doctors may say to increase others may say reduce.

  1. Apple Cider Vinegar:

Mix it with some honey in a large glass and remember to drink it at least once or twice every day. This will help prevent kidney diseases.

  1. Cranberry Juice:

This is highly recommended for kidney issues. The organic compounds found in cranberries are very helpful for affected kidneys. It is advised for you to have 2 or 3 glasses when you feel inflammation or irritation.

  1. Water:

This is one of the easiest and simplest ways to solve this issue. This will stimulate urination, which will help release toxins from your body.  Try drinking 6 to 8 glasses of water every day. This is effective so that it flushes out all the impurities from the body.

  1. Try to reduce your protein Intake:

An overdose of protein can be harmful for your body. Although one of the symptoms of kidney disease is a loss of protein.

  1. Aloe Vera Juice:

Aloe Vera is used in so many different health treatments for various conditions, so it comes as no surprise that it will also be beneficial for treating kidney infections. The healing and antioxidant properties make Aloe Vera a powerful tool in the battle against kidney disease.

If you follow these home remedies and monitor the way that your body is functioning, you can live a long and happy life. However, it is a very serious health condition, so it is a good idea to see a doctor and get professional help. You may be able to treat the disease from home, but it is still a good idea to be frequently checked with a doctor.
