Why Your Hair is Falling and How Ayushakti's Ayurvedic Treatments Can Give You Luscious Locks

Are you tired of seeing your hair clog your drain every time you shower? Do you feel like your scalp is starting to resemble a barren wasteland? Well, fear not because Ayushakti Ayurved has got you covered!

But first, let's address the elephant in the room: why is your hair falling out in the first place? According to Ayurveda, hair fall occurs due to an imbalance in the three doshas: Vata, Pitta, and Kapha. Vata dosha is responsible for the movement in the body, Pitta is responsible for metabolism, and Kapha is responsible for lubrication and structure. When these doshas are not in harmony, it can lead to hair fall and other hair problems.

Now, you might be wondering which nutrients are important for healthy hair. Well, my friend, here's a food list that'll help you grow your locks:

Iron-rich foods

We were told as children to eat fruits and vegetables, regardless of how much we disliked them. We have grown to appreciate the importance of a healthy diet. Iron-rich foods are essential for maintaining good health, gaining energy, and strengthening the bones. Did you know that iron-rich foods can improve your hair's health?

Iron is important for your overall health, but iron-rich food can also provide a number of benefits to your beauty. Below are some of the benefits.

  • Makes your skin glow
  • Avoid weak and brittle nail
  • Fights hair loss
  • Wound healing is accelerated
  • Promotes hair growth

       1. Green Leafy Vegetable

Iron-rich vegetables like spinach, collards, and kale are easy to incorporate into your diet. These iron-rich foods not only give your body instant energy but also brightens your skin and help strengthen your immune system. Did you know that a half cup of spinach provides 20% of the daily iron requirements of your body? You can add spinach to your diet in many ways - smoothies are one way.

       2. Lentils

Every meal should include a serving of lentils. Just half a cup of cooked lentils per day is enough to meet 20% of the body's daily iron requirements. Vegans and vegetarians love lentils because they are a great source of proteins. Did you know that lentils contain folates which are important for healthy hair and nail? You can add it to your soup, dal, or salad.

       3. Quinoa

Quinoa is low in calories and fat, but it also contains 15% of the daily recommended iron intake. Quinoa, in addition to being a food rich in iron, is also packed with amino acids that your body requires to maintain and repair healthy skin, hair, and nails. Quinoa also improves the texture of the skin because it's gluten-free. Quinoa salads can be made in many different ways and are delicious.

       4. Raisins

One small packet of raisins can provide 1mg of iron for the body. In addition to potassium and B vitamins, raisins are a great source of nutrients that are good for your hair and skin. Antioxidants are also found in raisins, which rejuvenate skin and help prevent premature aging. Raisins are also known to purify the blood, so they can help prevent acne and pimples.

Q. How can I raise my iron level quickly?

Iron is found in foods rich in protein, such as chicken and fish. These foods can be eaten to quickly raise the iron level of your body. Vegetarians can choose from vitamin C-rich foods and green leafy veggies.

Foods high in Vitamin C

Vitamin C is a powerful nutrient that helps to grow and strengthen hair. Vitamin C is essential for building collagen which is important for hair growth. But maintaining hair strength is equally as important. Vitamin C is essential for iron absorption, which helps to keep our hair strong and healthy. Iron is lost by women during their menstrual cycle. Not only is iron essential for hair growth, but it's also important for overall health and beauty. You can experience anemia, fatigue, and weakness if you don't replenish your iron stores. This will not make you feel or look vibrant.

Citrus fruits such as strawberries, grapefruits, and kiwi are rich in vitamin C. Berries also contain collagen, which strengthens hair. Vitamin C increases collagen production and also improves circulation in the scalp. Vitamin C protects the hair follicles against the oxidative damage of free radicals. Iron absorption is also improved, which in turn improves scalp circulation and hair growth. These factors promote hair growth, making hair thick and healthy. Citrus fruits and berries rich in Vitamin C are among the best foods for hair growth.

Biotin-rich foods

Biotin, a water-soluble Vitamin essential for hair growth, makes hair strands more durable.

Your diet is one of the many factors that determine your hair's quality. For healthy hair, you must give it nutrients. Biotin is one such nutrient that promotes hair development.

The B vitamin biotin helps to produce energy and reduce hair loss. It does this by encouraging the production of keratin, and also follicles. This vitamin is not stored by the body because it is water-soluble. It is important to take it regularly in order to get adequate amounts. These are the foods that will give you your daily dose.

       1. Broccoli:

Broccoli is a great vegetable to snack on raw with hummus or make into soup for a nutritious meal. You can eat it raw, with hummus, or make a nutritious soup.

       2. Sweet potato:

This is a great food for hair growth. 125 grams of cooked sweet potatoes can provide you with 2.4 mcg of biotin. Steamed or baked sweet potatoes are a great snack.

       3. Spinach:

A half cup of boiled green spinach contains 0.5mcg biotin. This green leafy veggie is also packed with iron and calcium.

       4. Cauliflower:

One serving of cauliflower contains 17 mcg biotin.

       5. Legumes:

Legumes are excellent sources of biotin and other nutrients, including protein. Biotin is found in the highest concentrations in peanuts and soybeans.

       6. Nuts & Seeds:

Biotin is also abundant in nuts and seeds. They are a great source of protein, healthy fats, and fiber. Biotin content in nuts and seeds can vary depending on the type. Add almonds, sunflower seeds, or a mixture of nuts to baked goods or salads.

       7. Mushrooms:

Mushrooms are rich in micronutrients and offer a variety of health benefits. You can add fresh or canned mushrooms to your recipes to get a healthy dose of biotin. Just 70 grams of button mushrooms contain 5.6 mcg.

       8. Bananas:

Biotin is found in bananas. 100 grams of the delicious fruit contains 0.2 mcg. Bananas contain fiber, potassium, and copper. Include this fruit in your diet daily.

       9. Avocado:

200 grams can provide around 1.8mcg biotin. If you are looking for biotin-rich foods for hair growth, try this in guacamole, or even eat it raw or on toast.

Q. How long does it take for foods rich in biotin for hair growth to show results?

According to some studies, it can take 90-120 days for positive effects such as hair growth and shine like this to be seen. For the best results, be consistent.

Omega-3 fatty acid-rich

Almonds, walnut seeds, pumpkin seeds, and flaxseeds are all nuts that have many health benefits. Omega-3 fatty acid content is high, increasing hair thickness by keeping the hair hydrated and strong. Zinc is also found in nuts and seeds, which promotes hair health by improving immunity and increasing cell replication. Seeds and nuts also contain phosphorus and magnesium. They are rich in iron and copper. Nuts and seeds are good food to promote hair growth.

Zinc-rich foods

Zinc, a trace element, is necessary for healthy hair and skin. It supports the growth of new skin and hair cells and maintains the glands that secrete oil on the scalp. This gives hair its shine. Many foods are rich in zinc and can provide your hair with the nutrients they need during the holiday season. You can improve your hair and scalp by adding zinc-rich foods to your diet. Add Zinc-rich foods like pumpkin seeds, chickpeas, and mushrooms to your daily diet.

Many fruits are rich in zinc. The perfect snack to boost your zinc intake dates. One cup of blackberries and one cup of raspberries each contain 0.8 milligrams of zinc. The richest source of Zinc is pomegranates, followed by avocados.

Hair Fall Testimonial 2

Ayurvedic Detox Therapy– Panchkarma for Strong and Healthy Hair:

Hair fall is a common problem that affects millions of people worldwide. While several factors contribute to hair fall, including genetics, hormonal imbalances, poor nutrition, and stress, Ayurveda believes that an accumulation of toxins in the body also plays a significant role.

Ayurveda is a holistic healing system that aims to restore balance and harmony to the body by addressing the root cause of an illness. One of the most effective Ayurvedic therapies for detoxification is Panchakarma. Panchakarma is a Sanskrit word that means "five actions" and refers to a set of cleansing and rejuvenating therapies that eliminate toxins from the body.

Panchakarma therapy consists of three stages - preparation, cleansing, and rejuvenation. The preparation stage involves preparing the body for the cleansing process, which is followed by the actual cleansing stage. Finally, the rejuvenation stage aims to nourish and strengthen the body.

When it comes to hair fall, Panchakarma therapy can help eliminate toxins from the body, improve circulation to the scalp, and promote hair growth. Some of the Ayurvedic therapies that are commonly used in Panchakarma for hair fall include:

Ayurvedic Head Massage

Ayurvedic head massage involves massaging the scalp with warm oil infused with herbs and spices. The massage helps improve circulation to the scalp, which nourishes the hair follicles and promotes hair growth.

Shiro Pichu

Shiro Pichu involves soaking a cotton pad in warm medicated oil and placing it on the scalp. The oil penetrates the hair follicles, nourishes the scalp, and promotes hair growth.

Shiro Basti

This therapy involves pouring warm medicated oil onto the scalp and leaving it on for a specified period. The oil penetrates the scalp, nourishes the hair follicles, and promotes hair growth.

These therapies are usually performed as part of a Panchakarma program, which also includes dietary changes, herbal remedies, and other detoxification therapies.
