Applying a herbal pack locally 2-3 times a day is very helpful in relieving the pain.  This pack is very effective for any muscle pain, joint pain, soft tissue injury, and reduces the swelling in joints.

A simple pack for relieving pain and swelling in joints and muscles 

  • Moong dal flour (yellow gram)  1 cup
  • Ghee       30 gms
  • Dry ginger powder       1 tablespoon
  • Garlic paste       1 teaspoon
  • Ajwain powder                     1 tablespoon
  • Nirgundi (Vitex negundo)powder  1 tablespoon (optional)

Mix all ingredients. Add enough water to cook and make a paste. Apply this paste warm on painful areas. Leave it and when dry, remove it with warm water.

Do this 2-3 times a day initially for one week. Once you get the relief, then apply 2 times daily and experience great relief.
