We can’t say no to food especially when it’s a pizza, burger or any other type of junk food. We just seem to forget about our health when there’s something like that in front of us. Eating a lot of fruits and vegetables has many benefits which include protection from cancer, heart disease and the effects of ageing. Having just one fruit or vegetable with each meal is enough. By eating fruits and vegetables can also help you reduce a considerable amount of weight as it contains very fewer calories.
- Choose the gifts of nature:
Choosing natural foods instead of processed foods prevents you from ingesting man-made chemicals which are toxic and can cause cancer. Studies suggest that natural foods have higher levels of nutrients and antioxidants.
- Snack Smart:
Don’t be on a See- food diet. If you see food, don’t go and eat it. Think twice before having whatever snacks are at your disposable. Choose your snacks smartly, that means you should include snacks like whole fruit, a granola bar or a small yoghurt. These foods contain high amounts of antioxidants, fibre and calcium content.
- Limit the consumption of sugar:
Cakes, chocolates, cookies, candies, your mouth is watering just by reading this but if you want to keep fitting into those pants then you need to just close your eyes and say no when there’s something sweet in front of you. Sugar has an addictive factor and over-consumption of sugar can cause your blood pressure to take a great hike, it also leads to the dull and wrinkled skin
