- Ayurvedic Herbal Mixture
Take some coriander seeds, amla, fennel, basil, and turmeric in equal parts. Grind them thoroughly into powder form. Take one teaspoon of this powder 15 minutes before lunch and dinner with a glass of lukewarm water. All of these magical seeds and herbs are stuffed with antioxidants that eliminate inflammation underneath the skin.
Potatoes are beneficial in healing and curing acne, fighting off bacteria, and also giving a natural radiance and flush to the skin. Peel off the potato skin, rinse it with water thoroughly, slice tiny disks from a potato and massage your face mildly with it. Make sure to use a separate piece of potato slice on separate parts of your face to avoid spreading germs.
- Sesame Seeds
While the oil obtained from these seeds has been used for healing cracks on the skin and maintaining the skin smooth and supple. Its paste can also be used for acne. Make these seeds into a fine paste for application on the face. Take a spoon full of sesame seeds, soak them overnight and grind them into a smooth paste the next morning. Apply this paste on the affected area and wash your face with lukewarm water after 10 to 15 minutes.
Sesame is filled with vitamins, minerals, and phytonutrients substances that are necessary to the body. As an antioxidant, it can fight signs of aging and shield the skin from the sun’s severe rays. Sesame also exerts an anti-inflammatory effect that benefits reduce acne infection.
Here’s an Ayurvedic Face Pack for Acne:
Fine powder of,
- Coriander seeds ½ tspn
- Sandalwood 1 tsp
- Vacha (Calamus root) ½ tspn.
- Nutmeg ¼ tsp
- Multani Mitti 2 tbsp
- Sandalwood oil 3 drops.
- Turmeric ½ tspn
- Triphala 1 tsp
Water to make a paste.
Boil water. When it begins to boil, take the steam on your face. Cover your head properly with a towel while taking steam.
Apply the pack after taking steam every day or every alternate day. Wash it with cold water.
