Why Do My Joints Hurt In The Winter?
Any joint in a person’s body can be affected by pain. A frozen shoulder or adhesive capsulitis can cause joint pain. A variety of factors can lead to joint pain:
- Tennis or golf elbow issues can cause pain in the elbow joints.
- Carpal tunnel syndrome can cause pain in the wrist.
- Pain in the foot joints can be because of Achilles tendonitis, plantar fasciitis, and calcaneal bursitis.
- Knee joint pain is caused by osteoarthritis or rheumatoid joint pain.
- Overuse and injuries to joints, bones, muscles, ligaments, tendons or other soft tissues are the primary causes of leg joint pain.
- Degeneration or wear and tear of the cartilage due to aging, inactivity, and vitamin deficiencies are among the various causes of joint pain.
- Tissue inflammation can be caused by autoimmune disease or any other cause.
- Injuries or exertion-related joint damage.
- Swelling, stiffness, severe pain, difficulty moving or moving about, and a limited range of motion are all symptoms of joint pain. A fever may occasionally be present.
According to Ayurveda, joint pain is caused by an imbalance in Vata levels or by the buildup of Ama or toxins. Vata can reach the joints and weaken the tissues because it is associated with movement. As a result, tissues may become malnourished, eventually depleting the joints’ lubricants. Stiffness and pain during joint movement would result from this.
One of the justification for joint pain is the development of toxins. According to Ayurveda, digestion is essential to good health. The digestive fire, or Agni, is weakened whenever digestion is affected. Toxin levels can rise as a result. After that, the toxins build up in the joints, resulting in stiffness and inflammation. This condition worsens when the weather is cold and humid, making the pain worse.
What Helps Joint Pain In Winter?
