By paying attention to these symptoms, Kapha people can avoid or control these conditions. This could indicate that your metabolism is too slow to digest food. This could be an indication of poor circulation. Feeling tired after eating can indicate that your stomach is full of mucus. Ayurveda pays attention to early warning signs, such as fatigue after eating. Early self-awareness prevents disease and keeps you vital and healthy.

How can you get your energy back if you are tired after eating? What can you do to restore mental alertness and motivation in yourself? Check your portions. You get tired when you eat larger portions. Ayurveda says you shouldn't eat more than would fit into your hands if it were a bowl. Digestion requires a lot of energy.
